Potentially Useful Sketches From Work
For those of you who know me well, you know that for many years now I have been making/working on a comic called Amazo Squad. Here are a few sketches from work that I think will become part of the Amazo Squad mythos.
These guys seem to be Pulp era heroes to me.
And the following image is my favorite thing I have made at work this year.

So
One of the jobs I work at is a job in which I grade standardized tests. This job is rather boring and I find that I am often doodling on paper while working. I don't mean to make it sound like I don't do my job. I DO DO my job. I meet my quota but I am not constantly grading.
All of these drawings are done in pencil. Most of them I inked with a sharpie pen when I got home.
Anyway, here are some random ones
This is a violent leprechaun (which I misspelled). My oldest brother's fiance's son's favorite game is something he calls violent leprechaun and so I decided to draw it.
Self explanatory.
Here...I have nothing to help explain this...
It sounded like a good 1980s style children's cartoon to me.

Proof!
Here is proof that Rob and I are actually working on comics. This is the colored first page of a comic we are working on called Kid Hero.
This is a planned one shot but we might revisit Kid Hero, or his world, sometime later.
I wrote the comic based on a dream my girlfriend had, Rob drew and inked the comic, and I am currently working on coloring and lettering it.
We hope to have it done sometime....preferably sooner than later.

Here are small versions of my first entry to our sketch blog.
I don't (yet) have a blog of my own and so I may periodically add sketches and stuff to this one.
For bigger versions of these drawings you should check out our sketch blog at
